The Volcano Vista Hawks softball team (Albuquerque, NM), 6-4 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM)

Coming up next, the Scorpions encounter the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 test, on Saturday, April 6. Farmington will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Matadors enter the test with a 9-3 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).

The Hawks (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars enter the 5A District 1 test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Cibola by Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 8-0, in a non-league test.
