Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) and the visiting Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN), witnessed Rossville's softball squad tip Fountain Central by a count of 8-3.

The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Benton Central for a non-league match on Monday, April 1. Rossville will face a Bison squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, IN). The Bison record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Fountain Central moves to 0-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN) to face the Panthers in a Wabash River match on Monday, April 1. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 3-0. Riverton Parke won 14-2 in their recent non-league match against Greencastle (Greencastle, IN)
