Oregon High School Softball - Scio nudges Grant Union

Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR), 13-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Loggers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Marion for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. Scio will face a Huskies squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Gladstone (Gladstone, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Grant Union falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Prospectors host Dayton (Dayton, OR) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
