Tennessee High School Softball - Sequatchie County bounces Whitwell

March 30, 2024: Whitwell, TN 37397

Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Whitwell Tigers (Whitwell, TN), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Pittsburg for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. Sequatchie County will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN). The Pirates record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Whitwell falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN) to battle the Pounders in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. The Pounders enter the challenge with a record of 9-4.
