In Monday's league bout, the Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Cardozo Clerks (Washington, DC), by a tally of 7-0.
Next up, the Colts encounter the School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA bout, on Wednesday, April 8. Coolidge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Penguins enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Maret (Washington, DC).
The Clerks (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bell (Washington, DC). The Griffins go into the DCIAA challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Bell was overwhelmed by Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC), 25-1, in a league challenge.
