Kansas High School Baseball - Wellington loses to Collegiate

In Monday's league bout, the Collegiate Spartans (Wichita, KS) baseball team trounced the visiting Wellington Crusaders (Wellington, KS), by a count of 15-9.

The Spartans now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Buhler for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 2. Collegiate will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Circle (Towanda, KS). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Wellington drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Andover (Andover, KS) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, April 16. The Trojans enter the bout with a record of 4-2.
