In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Edison Spartans baseball squad scored a good 14-2 triumph over the Dryden Lions.
With the triumph, Edison advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans host Hoosick Falls (Hoosick Falls, NY) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, April 3. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 0-1.
The Lions now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spencer-Van Etten for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 1.
