Florida High School Baseball - Hamilton County loses to Lafayette

March 30, 2026: Mayo, FL 32066

Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hamilton County Trojans (Jasper, FL), 14-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Lafayette advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Hornets travel to Madison County (Madison, FL) to play the Cowboys in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 31. The Cowboys go into the game with a record of 12-4. Madison County won 12-6 in their recent non-league game against Liberty County (Bristol, FL)

Next, the Trojans play the Jefferson County Tigers (Monticello, FL) in a Rural District 5 game, on Tuesday, March 31. Hamilton County will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 4-16 record after their 19-9 non-league win over FAMU DRS (Tallahassee, FL).
