California High School Softball - Highland bounces Buchanan

The Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) softball overwhelmed the host Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA), 11-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Scots (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hanford West (Hanford, CA). The Huskies go into the non-league bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Hanford West was routed by Garces Memorial (Bakersfield, CA), 4-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 31. Buchanan will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 6-6 record after their 20-0 league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, CA).
