Arkansas High School Softball - Hackett bounces Danville

March 30, 2026: Hackett, AR 72937

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR) and the visiting Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR), saw Hackett's softball squad topple Danville by a score of 16-6.

With the triumph, Hackett improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Hornets travel to Hector (Hector, AR) to face the Wildcats in a 2A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, March 31. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 7-2. Hector won 17-0 in their recent league contest against Danville (Danville, AR)

The Little Johns now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Acorn for a 2A Region 4 contest on Thursday, April 2. Danville will face a Tigers squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Westside (Coal Hill, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.
