California High School Softball - River Valley bounces Nevada Union

March 30, 2026: Yuba City, CA 95993

In Monday's league match, the host River Valley Falcons softball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Nevada Union Miners.

The Falcons (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Durham (Durham, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Durham was routed by Chico (Chico, CA), 8-5, in a non-league game.

The Miners now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Twelve Bridges for a Foothill Valley League game on Thursday, April 2. Nevada Union will play a Rhinos squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA). The Rhinos record now stands at 2-15.
