California High School Softball - Hughson knocked off by Mariposa County

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Mariposa County Grizzlies (Mariposa, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA), by a margin of 18-3.

With the triumph, Mariposa County moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Waterford (Waterford, CA) to play the Wildcats in a Southern Athletic League contest on Friday, April 9. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-2.

In their next game, the Huskies play the Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 1. Hughson will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
