In Thursday's non-league game, the host Hialeah Gardens Gladiators baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Reagan Bison.
The Gladiators (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Varela (Miami, FL). The Vipers go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Varela was overwhelmed by Southridge (Miami, FL), 13-7, in a league game.
The Bison (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Brito (Miami, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Brito was overwhelmed by Monsignor Pace (Miami, FL), 12-6, in a non-league game.
