In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting McCurdy Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Penasco Panthers.
The Bobcats (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Santa Rosa tipped Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 13-0, in a non-league game.
