In Thursday's league game, the visiting Saucon Valley Panthers baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Pen Argyl Green Knights.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA). The Crusaders go into the Colonial game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Notre Dame-Green Pond tipped Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA), 8-5, in a league game.
The Green Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Bulldogs go into the Colonial game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Northern Lehigh was overwhelmed by Bangor (Bangor, PA), 10-4, in a league game.
