The Conant Cougars topped the visiting Palatine Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. Conant will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over British International School of Chicago (Chicago, IL). The Wolfpack record now stands at 5-3.

The Pirates (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons enter the Mid Suburban test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Schaumburg was knocked off by Oswego (Oswego, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
