West Virginia High School Lacrosse - George Washington drops to Buckhannon-Upshur

In Thursday's league battle, the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) lacrosse squad routed the visiting George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV), by a count of 16-1.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers clash with the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a WVSLA - West battle, on Friday, April 1. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Red Dragons come into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 10-5 league loss to George Washington (Charleston, WV).

The Patriots now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a WVSLA - West battle on Tuesday, April 5. George Washington will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 0-0 league Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 0-6.
