Ohio High School Lacrosse - Laurel drops to Cardinal Mooney

In Thursday's league test, the host Cardinal Mooney Cardinals lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-6 victory over the Laurel Gators .
The Cardinals now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poland Seminary for a Region 6 game on Wednesday, April 6. Cardinal Mooney will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-5 league loss to Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
The Gators (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Rough Riders go into the Region 6 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Roosevelt was overwhelmed by Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH), 16-2, in a non-league game.
