The Haverhill Hillies lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the host Methuen Rangers to 10 in the Hillies league win on Thursday.
The Hillies (1-0) will now prepare for their match against North Andover (North Andover, MA). The Scarlet Knights go into the Merrimack Valley 1 match with a 0-0 record.
The Rangers (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Billerica Memorial tipped Dracut (Dracut, MA), 12-0, in a non-league outing.
