North Carolina High School Lacrosse - South Mecklenburg overwhelms Providence

March 31, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28210

The South Mecklenburg Sabres triumphed over the visiting Providence Panthers lacrosse team by a score of 17-10 in Thursday's league match.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Sabres travel to Cannon (Concord, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, April 1. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 3-3. Cannon lost 9-4 in their recent non-league match against Davidson Day (Davidson, NC)

With the defeat, Providence drops to 4-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to play the Knights in a Southwestern/So Meck match on Monday, April 4. The Knights go into the match with a record of 7-5. Ardrey Kell won 20-1 in their recent league match against Butler (Matthews, NC)
