In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Auburn Eagles soccer squad scored a good 9-1 win over the Giles Spartans.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Mountain Empire battle with a 0-0 record.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Eastern Montgomery notched a victory over James River (Buchanan, VA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
