Central of Coosa County Cougars (Rockford, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL), 11-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vincent for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5.

With the loss, Comer moves to 1-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Talladega (Talladega, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, April 1. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 1-2. Talladega lost 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Munford (Munford, AL)
