In Thursday's league test, the visiting Vero Beach Indians lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-6 victory over the Viera Hawks.
The Indians now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dwyer for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 5. Vero Beach will face a Panthers squad coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Pine (Stuart, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Cocoa Beach Minutemen (Cocoa Beach, FL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 2. Viera will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Minutemen come into the test with a 10-2 record after their 15-2 non-league win over Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL).
