In Thursday's league battle, the host Carbon Dinos soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Richfield Wildcats.
The Dinos (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Summit Academy by Judge Memorial (Salt Lake City, UT), 5-1, in a league battle.
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Canyon View (Cedar City, UT). The Falcons come into the 3A Region 12 battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Canyon View by Juab (Nephi, UT), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
