In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Lincoln East Spartans soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Norfolk Panthers.
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Millard North (Omaha, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Millard North nudged Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE), 7-0, in a league battle.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Gering (Gering, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Gering by Douglas (Douglas, WY), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
