Arizona High School Softball - Browne bounces South Mountain

Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host North for a 6A Metro challenge on Monday, April 4. Browne will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 18-14 league loss to Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, South Mountain falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Lions in a 6A Metro challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Alhambra lost 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Camelback (Phoenix, AZ)
