California High School Softball - Calipatria bounces West Shores

Calipatria Hornets (Calipatria, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting West Shores Wildcats (Salton City, CA), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calexico for a Desert challenge on Friday, April 1. Calipatria will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Brawley (Brawley, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, West Shores falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Julian (Julian, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
