Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Central Wildcats (Florence, AL) and the visiting Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), witnessed Central's softball squad tip Colbert County by a count of 3-2.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Brooks for a 4A Area 16 match on Monday, April 4. Central will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Alexandria (Alexandria, AL). The Lions record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Colbert County moves to 2-9 on the season. The Indians travel to East Lawrence (Trinity, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, April 4. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 6-13. East Lawrence lost 11-5 in their recent non-league match against Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN)
