The Concordia Cardinals softball squad scored 7 runs and held the visiting Vanguard College Prep Vikings to 4 in the Cardinals league win on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Reicher Catholic for a TAPPS Division IV District 3 challenge on Friday, April 1. Concordia will face a Cougars squad coming off a 22-3 league win over Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Vanguard College Prep falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Reicher Catholic (Waco, TX) to face the Cougars in a TAPPS Division IV District 3 challenge on Thursday, April 7. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
