Washington High School Softball - Gig Harbor bounces River Ridge

March 31, 2022: Lacey, WA 98513

The Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA) softball overwhelmed the host River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA), 15-10 in Thursday's league contest.

With the triumph, Gig Harbor moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Tides host Yelm (Yelm, WA) to play the Tornados in a 3A South Sound contest on Friday, April 1. The Tornados come into the contest with a record of 7-2. Yelm lost 5-1 in their recent league contest against Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA)

In their next game, the Hawks play the Timberline Blazers (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound contest, on Monday, April 4. River Ridge will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Blazers come into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 11-10 league loss to Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA).
