The Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) softball routed the host Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS), 12-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (16-5) will now prepare for their bout against Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS). The Eagles go into the 6A Region 2 bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Horn Lake was routed by South Panola (Batesville, MS), 13-0, in a league bout.
The Conquistadors now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grenada for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 7.
