The Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans routed the host Jefferson County Patriots softball squad by a final score of 17-0 in Thursday's league battle.
The Trojans (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Boiling Springs was routed by Clover (Clover, SC), 10-6, in a league battle.
The Patriots now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Morristown-Hamblen East for a 4A District 2 battle on Tuesday, April 5. Jefferson County will confront a Hurricanes squad coming off a 4-4 non-league White House (White House, TN). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-4.
