In Thursday's non-league contest, the Leroy Bears (Leroy, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Millry Wildcats (Millry, AL), by a margin of 9-1.

With the triumph, Leroy moves its record to 17-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Blacksher (Uriah, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 5. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 15-9. Blacksher lost 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against Flomaton (Flomaton, AL)

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Choctaw County Tigers (Butler, AL) in a 1A Area 4 contest, on Friday, April 1. Millry will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 15-0 league loss to Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL).
