California High School Softball - Lone Pine nudges Mojave

Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mojave Mustangs (Mojave, CA), 12-11 in a league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trona for a Hi-Lo challenge on Friday, April 8.

With the loss, Mojave falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Trona (Trona, CA) to battle the Tornadoes in a Hi-Lo challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Tornadoes enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Trona lost 24-2 in their recent league challenge against Immanuel Christian (Ridgecrest, CA)
