Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Central Wolfpack (Spokane, WA), 28-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewis & Clark for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Mt. Spokane will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Ferris (Spokane, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, North Central falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host University (Spokane, WA) to battle the Titans in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. University won 17-8 in their recent league challenge against Cheney (Cheney, WA)
