California High School Softball - Piner gets by Santa Rosa

The Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) softball nipped the host Santa Rosa Panthers (Santa Rosa, CA), 2-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Prospectors (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA). The Greyhounds go into the North Bay - Redwood bout with a 3-5 record.

The Panthers now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Windsor for a non-league bout on Friday, April 1. Santa Rosa will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-5.
