California High School Softball - Ponderosa bounces West Park

The Ponderosa Bruins routed the visiting West Park Panthers softball squad by a count of 24-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Bruins (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras go into the Foothill Valley League battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Lincoln topped Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 8-4, in a league battle.

The Panthers now sport a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Rio Linda for a Foothill Valley League battle on Tuesday, April 5. West Park will meet a Knights squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Davis (Davis, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-6.
