North Carolina High School Baseball - Albemarle loses to North Stanly

In Friday's league game, the host North Stanly Comets baseball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Albemarle Bulldogs.
The Comets (12-3) will now prepare for their game against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Mount Pleasant ran past Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 5-4, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Union Academy ran past South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 9-3, in a league game.
