The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 11-4. La Porte won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against College Park (The Woodlands, TX)

The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 12-3. Friendswood won 5-4 in their recent league test against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX)
