The Gainesville Red Elephants baseball team (Gainesville, GA), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Friday's league outing with the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA)
The Wildcats now hold a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Habersham Central for a 6A Area 8 outing on Monday, April 3. Apalachee will confront a Raiders team coming off a 6-4 league win over Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 12-9.
Next, the Red Elephants face the Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA) in a 6A Area 8 bout, on Friday, April 7. Gainesville will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record.
