The Archbishop Curley Friars baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Mount St. Joseph Gaels to 1 in the Friars league victory on Friday.
The Friars (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Sherwood ran past Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD), 22-0, in a league match.
The Gaels (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Gilman (Baltimore, MD). The Greyhounds go into the MIAA A match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Gilman was overwhelmed by Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD), 9-1, in a league match.
