The Parkland Matadors the visiting Bel Air Highlanders baseball team by a count of 5-3 in Friday's league bout.
The Matadors now possess a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hanks for a 5A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, April 4. Parkland will face a Knights team coming off a 4-3 league win over Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Knights record now stands at 14-6.
Next, the Highlanders face the Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 bout, on Tuesday, April 4. Bel Air will attempt to move on its 6-13 season record. The Scorpions enter the bout with a 7-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Ysleta (El Paso, TX).
