North Carolina High School Baseball - Bertie loses to Gates County

The Bertie Falcons baseball team (Windsor, NC), was overwhelmed 14-0 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC)

The Red Barons now hold a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington County for a Four Rivers 1A outing on Tuesday, April 4. Gates County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.

Next, the Falcons confront the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) in a Four Rivers 1A outing, on Tuesday, April 4. Bertie will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Pirates go into the outing with a 7-5 record after their 13-0 league win over Tarboro (Tarboro, NC).
