The Chinle Wildcats baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Window Rock Fighting Scouts to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Ray (Kearny, AZ). The Bearcats go into the non-league match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Ray St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ), 5-5, in a non-league match.
The Fighting Scouts (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ). The Mustangs go into the 3A North match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, Monument Valley was overwhelmed by Superior (Superior, AZ), 11-0, in a non-league match.
