Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Portales Rams (Portales, NM), 18-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Clovis upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Matadors in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 4. The Matadors come into the test with a record of 11-5. Sandia won 10-6 in their recent league test against Farmington (Farmington, NM)
With the defeat, Portales falls to 5-6 on the season. The Rams host Texico (Texico, NM) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 3-3. Texico won 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM)
