Texas High School Baseball - Del Rio can't hold off United

In Friday's league game, the visiting United Longhorns baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Del Rio Rams.

The Longhorns (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial was nipped by Victoria East (Victoria, TX), 5-4, in a non-league contest.

The Rams now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Alexander for a 6A Region IV District 30 contest on Tuesday, April 11. Del Rio will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-3.
