The Pickens Dragons crushed the host Gilmer Bobcats baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Dragons now possess a 19-3 record. They take the field next when they host Dawson County for a 3A Area 7 bout on Tuesday, April 4. Pickens will face a Tigers team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-8.
Next, the Bobcats face the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) in a 3A Area 7 bout, on Tuesday, April 4. Gilmer will attempt to move on its 6-13 season record. The Wolves enter the bout with a 9-7 record after their 7-0 league win over White County (Cleveland, GA).
