In Friday's league game, the visiting Marion Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins.
The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Randolph (Universal City, TX). The Ro-Hawks go into the 3A Region IV District 26 game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Randolph was overwhelmed by Cole (San Antonio, TX), 6-3, in a league game.
The Griffins (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region IV District 26 game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Nixon-Smiley tipped Luling (Luling, TX), 7-4, in a league game.
