The Pickens Blue Flame baseball team (Pickens, SC), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Friday's league outing with the host Greenville Red Raiders (Greenville, SC)
The Red Raiders now hold a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenwood for a 4A Region 1 outing on Tuesday, April 4. Greenville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 16-1 league win over Berea (Greenville, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
Next, the Blue Flame confront the Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 3. Pickens will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Red Devils go into the outing with a 6-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC).
