In Friday's league game, the visiting Millbrook Pioneers baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Kettle Run Cougars.
The Pioneers (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Warriors go into the Northwestern game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Sherando tipped Warren County (Front Royal, VA), 10-0, in a league game.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their game against North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Wolverines go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, North Stafford was overwhelmed by Stafford (Falmouth, VA), 5-4, in a league game.
